The steam cycle starts but nothing seems to happen. What do you test?
The supply hose, the inlet screen and the inlet valve. A clogged screen or a closed supply valve is the simplest cause on a steam dryer, and we check it before looking at the steam parts.
Does a burned-out drum light affect drying?
No. The light is a separate circuit from the motor and heat. We replace the bulb or test the socket and door switch, and then check drying on its own so one problem is not mistaken for the other.
A specialty program never finishes. What does that mean?
Often the dryer cannot read the load, so a sensor strip or its wiring needs testing. We clean and test first, then move to the control if the readings are wrong.
