A Whirlpool appliance shows a code when a sensor, switch, motor or control board reports a reading outside its range. The same code can come from a worn part, a loose connector or a bad supply, and a model without a display gives no code at all, only a behavior.
We write down the code and what the appliance was doing when it appeared, then test the parts in that circuit with a meter before replacing anything. A drain code on a washer sends us to the hose and filter before the pump, for instance. If the sign fits two causes, we say so and begin with the cheaper test.
You get the finding and a written price first. Where an older unit is not worth the repair, we tell you that as well.
Tell us the model and the code. We will bring the part.
